PASSWORD RECOVERY

NOTE: Before using this function, first try closing your browser (e.g., Internet Explorer or Netscape), then wait a few minutes, and try again. Sometimes the internet connection is temporarily disrupted, or our website 'server' is being reset. Your password might work again in a few minutes.

PLEASE NOTE: This function WILL CHANGE YOUR PASSWORD. Your old password will not work any more after using this function. Do not use this function unless you are certain you will be able to receive the email containing your new password. If you cannot receive the email, you will not know your new password.

Enter Your TransGuardian UserName. A new password will then be mailed to you at your official email address. Then you will be taken to a page to change your password. As soon as you get the email please change your password to something new, so that only your company will know your password.

Because your email is stored in encrypted form, we cannot tell you what your password is. We can only reset the password to something new.

On the internet, emails sometimes are very fast but sometimes they can take a long time, maybe 20 minutes or an hour.

If you do not receive the email with your new password, you can use this function again and have another new password sent to you. However, please note that if you use this function more than one time on the same day, you will receive multiple emails with different passwords from each time that you used this function. The function will always create a new password each time you use it. Therefore, be careful to use the password in the last email if you use this more than one time on the same day.

(Note: To change your password, go to "Account Status" and then click on "Account Management on the right hand side." Note: We recommend that you use a password which is a word that you will remember easily plus a number that you will remember easily. This will make it hard for someone to guess your password, but easy for you to remember it.)

When you receive the email with your new password Highlight the new password with the mouse, then Copy (CTRL/C) the new password, so you can Paste your new password into the Log-In screen.
